The Father’s Name: A Tool for Overcoming Wordly Lust

Minister: Pastor Uzor Nwoke
We are in a beautiful season where the Lord is bringing us closer to Himself. There is a seal of the living God and also a seal of the True God.
Matthew 24:31
“And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”
If we have a great sound of the trumpet, that means there are sounds that are not great.
John 5: 19-23
“Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. [20]For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel. [21]For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will.[22]For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: [23]That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.”
When we check the move of God in Church history, we discover that there are three categories of people and these three categories of people are in the current church as well: there are those who are watching things happen, there are those who are wondering about what is happening, and there are those who make things happen. There are opportunities to migrate from one level/category to the next. Those who make things happen can be called frontiers, they are those who are yielding to the demands of God. Any generation that obeys God holds them in high esteem (People yielding to the demands of God). When you obey, you are encouraging God. Satan has vowed that no one would obey God. When God sees a people obeying, He is encouraged and worship is given.
It is not easy to obey and yield because we as people have our own ways, so when we see people yielding, God is pleased. Pastor Emeka’s yieldedness is what has endeared us all to follow, and that is why God is opening and revealing things to Pastor Emeka. The more we yield to God, the more we die. God cannot deal with any man who is still alive. For God to use us we have to be dead. The season we have been given is because there are people who have yielded to God’s demand, and this season is a season we should not take lightly instead we should take it with all seriousness. We are at this level of faith and presence because we have yielded to God to a degree.
Matthew 24: 31
“And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”
The great sound in Matthew 24:31 is talking about the love of the Father, not that of Christ. When the love of the Father is being declared, what is being declared is a great sound of the trumpet. It would take the great sound of the trumpet to ascend to gather the elect. Meaning not everyone would receive and inherit the love of the Father. It would only take those who are elected to access, receive or ascend to the love of the Father, It will only take those who have been elected. The love of the Father is not for everyone, It is for the elect. The making of our election and calling sure is not a matter of confession, it is a making. It is not something we conjure or say out, it is a making. There are some things we would obey that we would be made to become elect (2 Peter 1: 10).
Anything that is sure cannot fail and is everlasting. Satan cannot prey through anything that is sure. Our calling and election is not something we come about by mistake, we must go through the process. We cannot amount to anything in the kingdom without process. It is through process that things that are not needed in our lives are cut off. Process cuts us to size so we can find access. Calling here (2 Peter 1:10) is not calling as unto the five fold ministry, the calling is the calling to life. The least life a believer is called to come into is the life of Christ, but there is a higher life, that is the life of the Father. It is possible for us to fail if we do not do these things;
2 Peter 1:5-10
“And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; [6] And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;[ 7] And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. [8] For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. [9] But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. [10] Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall…”
All these things in “2 Peter 1:5–7” are sights. The more we come into these things, the more we come into sight. When we are praying that the eyes of our understanding be enlightened, we are asking that these things (in 1 Peter 1:5-7) be added. The more these things are strong in our lives, the more sight we have and the stronger our sight becomes. It is possible for someone to be in the Church for years and still be blind. We need to be grateful to God for our father, Reverend Kayode Oyegoke, because the Lord has used him to help us out of our blindness. The Lord has raised him to raise us all out of blindness. God has given us sight because we have yielded to the demands of God. It is possible to hear these things, and it has not made any impact on us because of a lack of submission/yieldedness (2 Peter 1:9-10). Diligence is a function of those who have come into faith, patience, charity, temperance, and brotherly kindness.. If these things are not aligned, we cannot be as diligent as we ought to be.
The first time I (Pastor Uzo) heard that God is lower/meeker than the Father and the Father is lower/meeker than the son, I was baffled. I later learnt that the higher we go, the meeker we become. There are things that we live out that bring pleasure to God and that is the essence of church. The more meek we become, the more we bring pleasure to God. The love of the Father is actually a great sound of the trumpet. For the elect to hear this great sound of the trumpet, it means they have heard a lower sound. The doctrine of Christ is a sound, it is the first sound we would hear. When we hear “come out of them and be ye separate”, that is a sound [2 Corinthians. 6:17]. There is a sound that separates. There is a sound that sanctifies us. For a people to begin to hear the declaration of the love of the Father, such a people have heard the sound of the Christ.
The first sound separates us from where we are coming from. It then prevents us from touching unclean things. That tells us someone can be separated but still touch the unclean things. We would keep hearing the sound till we are unable to touch the unclean things. The unclean things are the things that defile us, which Christ deals with. Faith, hope, and charity is a voice. Faith is a voice that calls you out of where you are. Without this voice, a soul would not be able to take steps. Until a man begins to hear that voice, that man will still be in death. We can talk about the love of the Father if we have not been separated; we can not be separated if we negate the doctrine of Christ (Faith, hope, charity); these are sounds in the spirit. Satan does not want us to be separated from his things; that is why he has tied us to the earth. When we begin to hear the voice, we begin to break out.
Hearing the sound of the Faith of the Son is a tool for separation. If we are not hearing,we would not be separated and cleansed. Satan’s desire is for us to remain crude as we are, but we are to move from faith to faith until we are seated. Faith, hope, and charity is a voice. When a man begins to hear the voice of charity, it means he is breaking into the zone of all things.
1 Corinthians 13: 4-6
Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, [5] Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; [6] Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
These are not a list of things to do, they are lives we should live in the days of our flesh. This life will not be possible if we are still touching the unclean. The life of the spirit is not something we conjure, we have to be led. Charity can never fail. People fail because they have not keyed themselves into these principles. A marriage that has entered into charity can never fail. A man who cannot keep his marriage cannot keep the church. Church starts from the home. There is a principle in the spirit that when you come into it, you can never fail. This principle would deal with every barrier because it cannot fail.
1 Chronicles 4:10
“And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested”.
Just hang in there, and things will begin to change. Before anything happens in the physical, it has happened in the spirit. For you to come to a point where you are holding things, you must align in the spirit. If we have the understanding that if any man be in Christ, old things have passed away; including foundation, curses, late marriages, and barrenness are old things and have passed away [2 Corinthians 5:17]. It does not matter what Satan has said to you; the time of Satan has passed. You have to enjoy your Christianity. When we align ourselves with those things, Satan will be afraid because there will be no loophole for him to pass through. There is a place we are standing where Satan will not be able to do anything to us if we align properly. Love of the Father begins with voice. When we begin to learn the love of the Father, it begins with voice. Love is also a wisdom, that is why God begins to ask us not to love the world neither the things that are in the world. One of the ways to deal with the world is to come into the love of the Father. Demas left Paul because he loved the world. This means that the wisdom of this world is sweet. We need another wisdom to overcome it. Everything we do in this world is anointed. We need to make overcoming the world our only concern. As a minister, if we have ambition or lust, we would not end well. God would heal us of our lust because that is where Satan is holding us. Every man has his own lust and Satan is looking for avenue to reignite those lusts.
James 1:13-15
“ Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: [14] But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. [15] Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.”
As a Christian, we should pray for God to kill our lust. The intention of lust is to kill us. We need wisdom to overcome all the devil has kept in this world to eliminate us, but thank us that wisdom has come. Wisdom that will elevate us from this world into all God has for us.
Rounding off by Pastor Emeka
What would compete with the love of the father is the love of this world.
John 17: 26
“And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them”
What will compete with the love of the Father is the love of this world. There is a love that should be in us, but that love cannot be in us when the love of this world is still in us. What will make a soul lift in lust is love. This love of the world is called lust. This lust can stay in a man for a long time. It would take the declaration of His name to root out the love in us.
Everlasting Churches can love the world. This world is stronger than we think. This world is elusive. It would take the love and declaration of the Father’s name till this love sits inside of us. This love sitting inside of us is God sitting in us, just like our Lord Jesus.
