Embodying the Conversation of Zion
To drink of the Spirit is not only in the demonstration of Spirit; drinking also comes by partaking of the Word. There is the administration of the Spirit, which we drink of by hearing and hearkening to the Word.
We are truly partakers of a particular realm when we have embodied the lifestyle of that realm. The conversation that we have is a product of revelation (Phil. 3:20). Our conversation (citizenship) is in heaven but is not meant to stay or remain in heaven. It is meant to become our conversation here on earth.
David is a significant Hero of faith because he brought to life the conversation of Zion from heaven that had not been seen on earth before. David embodied this conversation. He did not only embody it, he brought it out and gave it to people (Ps. 87:2). David was someone who always demonstrated the things he saw in the Spirit.
Zion is more than just a tribe- it is a conversation. The Israelites alone do not make up Zion but also men from other nations. The picture of Zion David caught was to capture the desire of God. The Lord fell in love with the gates of Zion because Zion was a company of those who were broken, contrite, forsaken, and abandoned (Ps. 87:2, 1 Cor. 12:26).
Psalm 48:2 KJV
“Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.”
The song of Zion began when David fled from Saul. Those who surrounded David were outcasts in Israel – those that had no comeliness. They were those who found no continuing city (Heb. 13:14).
It takes a lot for a man’s soul to be detached from the pull of this world. The things that serve as a strength or benefit for us here are the things that hinder us from climbing the mountain of Zion. No one climbs a mountain with weighty things. The company of zion symbolizes those who have been detached from unnecessary weights. They are the ones who can climb. God creates unconducive environments to aid  men in shedding unnecessary weight.
The men accompanying David were outcasts who had no other hope but him. (1 Samuel 22:2). If the circumstances around them were favourable, they might never have accompanied him or cried out for help.
The debt that the company of David owed was not money, they did not measure up with the world’s standards. This led to discontentment and dissatisfaction. All the activities we see in 1 Samuel 22:2 are activities of the spirit of zion.
The aim of these activities orchestrated by the spirit of zion is to create a void that only God can fill. Regrettably, it is the nature of the soul to always be in a state of satisfaction. This is why a man will quickly seek means and things to fill up quickly fill up the void.
The Spirit of Zion upon an assembly brings distress (1 Sam 22:2; 2. Cor. 6:4-6). Distress among other activities of the spirit is an activity that is meant to make us men that can be approved unto God. Nobody comes to Zion by mere chance or luck.
To come to Zion, your soul must be captured by the Lord. The circumstances that happened to Paul such as imprisonment (Eph 4:1-2) were to bring him into Revelations. The more imprisoned we are, the more we can be trusted and granted access to Zion.
Revelations create situations and conditions that initiate purification and ascension (2 Cor 6:6). Zion is an allocation in the spirit. It is where all tribes gather (Heb. 12:22). God hides in zion. Zion is a conglomerate of men consecrated by distress and conditions around them.
God is found in the palaces of Zion. The priests (daughters of Zion) were clothed with Salvation because they had embodied the life or conversation of Zion (2 Chr. 6:41). The strength of faith is measured by its revelation. The Heroes of Faith in Hebrews 11 were men who had everlasting revelations. It showed in the manner of conversations they embodied.
Psalm 48:13
“Mark ye well her bulwarks, consider her palaces; that ye may tell it to the generation following.”
The Bible reference above speaks of an embodiment of a conversation. The importation of God’s conversations on the earth is the antidote to the workings of Satan. Obedience to conversations from above fashion us into obedient people, and disobedience to those conversations fashions us into disobedient people.
When we embody conversations, it has a ripple effect on generations to come (Gen. 18:19). For example, the lives of children are framed by the parents’ conversations.
Marriages are to be governed by Revelations. It is more beneficial to get into marriage when one has embodied a level of Christ conversations; otherwise one will import the conversations received from wrong standards that had been learnt. Satan hates marriage and frames homes in a way that keeps God away.
Distresses are orchestrated by the Spirit in mercy to deal with wrong conversations that prevent the installation of the conversations of God. Marriage can either heal or damage your soul depending on the conversation you decide to Import into your home.
We must allow God in our homes. Marriages are to follow the pattern of the relationship between Christ and the Church. Wives are to speak to their husbands with respect so as to cover their heads (Eph. 5:22). Likewise, husbands are to serve their wives and treat them with honor and not rashness (Eph. 5:25). marriage is an everlasting conversation.
Embodying the conversations of Zion changes our soul-state from being earthly to becoming heavenly. Disobediences are avenged when all obedience is fulfilled. One of the bulwarks of Zion in Ps. 48:13Â is spiritual authority. The Heroes of Faith in Hebrews 11Â all embodied the conversations of everlasting life and are thus citizens of Zion.
2 Samuel 6:19
“And he dealt among all the people, even among the whole multitude of Israel, as well to the women as men, to every one a cake of bread, and a good piece of flesh, and a flagon of wine. So all the people departed every one to his house.”
The scripture above was a practical demonstration of the conversation of Zion. The cake, piece of flesh and wine given by David were to initiate the company of Zion into the conversation he embodied, a product of mercy.
Psalm 84:6-7
“Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools. [7] They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.”
Access to Zion is by the strength of its conversations. Our strength is our conversation. We access greater strength as we increase in our embodiment of conversation. In every life circumstance, our hearts must be resolved and ready to face distress just to embody the conversations of God.
